Nuwara Eliya literally means ‘City of the Valley’ or ‘City of Light’ is a town in the central hills of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka’s tallest mountain, Paduruthalagala, oversees this beauty.

Nuwara Eliya was founded by some British officers who went missing while hunting for elephants.
